To encourage students to engage in formal education in the arts.

Criteria

  • Available to graduates of Bothell, Inglemoor, North Creek, Innovative Lab, and Woodinville high schools and the Secondary Academic for Success (SAS);
  • Financial need is a consideration;
  • Intends to attend an accredited two- or four-year program in the field of Art. The goal may be to either secure certification or a college degree.
  • Candidates will plan to enroll in fields of study including:
  • Interdisciplinary Visual Arts;
  • Painting or drawing concentration;
  • Photo/Media;
  • Ceramics, glass, sculpture or 3D4M
  • Has maintained a GPA of 3.0 or greater (or the equivalent);
  • Will have demonstrated service to others in school or community.;
  • Letters of Recommendation will be accepted but are not required.

Requirements

  • Candidates may be interviewed by a committee appointed by the Scholarship Foundation of Northshore.
