To encourage students to engage in formal education in the arts.
Criteria
- Available to graduates of Bothell, Inglemoor, North Creek, Innovative Lab, and Woodinville high schools and the Secondary Academic for Success (SAS);
- Financial need is a consideration;
- Intends to attend an accredited two- or four-year program in the field of Art. The goal may be to either secure certification or a college degree.
- Candidates will plan to enroll in fields of study including:
- Interdisciplinary Visual Arts;
- Painting or drawing concentration;
- Photo/Media;
- Ceramics, glass, sculpture or 3D4M
- Has maintained a GPA of 3.0 or greater (or the equivalent);
- Will have demonstrated service to others in school or community.;
- Letters of Recommendation will be accepted but are not required.
Requirements
- Candidates may be interviewed by a committee appointed by the Scholarship Foundation of Northshore.
